Aurore Collective approached us with a challenge: build a campaign identity that could hold equal weight in a gallery installation, a printed broadsheet, and a social media feed. Our response was a modular visual system built around a single photographic gesture — the long exposure — that could be scaled, cropped, and recoloured without losing its essential character. The typography is deliberately secondary, allowing the image to lead at every touchpoint.
The promotional campaign was designed to unfold in three phases across six weeks, each revealing a new dimension of the collective's practice. We built a microsite that acted as a living editorial — updated each week with new work, new writing, and new collaborators. The visual logic shifted slightly with each update, creating a sense of accumulation rather than repetition. By the final week, the site read as both a document of the campaign and a work in its own right.
