Velours Paris
Velours Paris began with a single constraint: nothing could feel mass-produced. The packaging system was built entirely around hand processes — letterpress, foil blocking, hand-tied ribbons — translated into a digital visual language that preserves the sense of individual attention. Every element of the identity was tested against the question: could this have been made by hand? If the answer was no, we started again. The result is a brand that feels genuinely rare at every touchpoint.
The digital experience carries the same logic. Product pages load slowly and deliberately — a considered choice that filters for the right audience and creates a sense of anticipation. The colour system shifts subtly across the seasons, keyed to the fragrance families in the collection. We built a bespoke typeface pairing that references perfumers' notation, giving the brand a voice that is entirely its own. The unboxing experience, documented and woven through the site, transforms a transactional moment into a ritual worth remembering.
